You are invited to take a walk with me on this kaleidoscopic tour of Life and living.
I'll let you know when more has been added. It won't be often. Although lots more could be told, I'll slow down soon and let Myrt-Ty-Ky-Ly tell her story.

IS THAT YOU, GRANDPA?
This story (with photos) tells of our mishaps and successes in tracking down ancestors from the 18th century. We were searching for farmers and hunters who had left slavery in Virginia and Pennsylvania to find land in what is now the Carolinas.
In Part One we find Adam “The Pioneer” Sherrill and his family, the first settlers (1747) to settle across the Catawba River.
Part Two takes us to Kings Mountain where a battle is taking place around us with shrieks and shots and bayonets glistening.
In the third part, Grandpa is lost on the Tyger River.
